Recently acquired two Workcentre 7855's previously from Gov't Use. Their techs removed the Hard drives - which wasn't an issue, but they didn't replace the hard drive mounting trays back on the motherboard! I have not been able to reference a replacement part number for ordering. Any ideas how to resolve this issue?
Sadly they do not have order numbers as they are not ever needed to be replaced really.
Even as a Xerox employee i cannot find a way to order one, the HDD and the SATA cable do not come with it when ordered. I know a Xerox technician can order things like this with a special process called a non spared parts request but I assume you have no maintenance agreement so that could be a very expensive option.
Unofficially speaking, I would probably just duct tape it in there.
