I found THESE STEPS on how to reset the High Frequency Service Item (HFSI) Counter. Now it says you do not need to do that for supply items like toner so I am not sure if this well help, but you could give that a try.
If that doesn't work, I would recommend contacting Support again regarding this. The Support options for your device are listed HERE.
My Versant 80 says Yellow toner empty but its nearly full it
fixes when I replace but only for a short while
My tech has done dispenser test and its seems
fine .
