I have enjoyed this scanner for years, from Win7 up thru W10Pro.
Now there may be a hardware dysfunction unrelated to USB connection, drivers, etc.
The LED Function is always a green "8", regardless of whether USB cable is attached, scan panel is open or shut, or if feeder tray is connected.
I have swapped out all cables and ports, including testing the power supply while in a direct outlet.
Is this unit "toast" or is there a hardware reset not commonly known that I can try to restore functionality.
