Re: Short in Printhead?

My Phaser 8860 stopped powering on and only offered code: 37,016.43:40963 on startup.

I opened up the back to readh the electronics module and I got a reading of less than 5 V on the 50 V test pad.  I unplugged everything from the module and the reading went up to around 49 V. I plugged everything back in, one at a time, and when I plugged the Printhead Interface cable, the voltage drops back down to almost nothing.

If there any other troubleshooting I can do? or do I just need to replace the Printhead? Should I try replacing the Interface cable first?

Thanks.

First you have to replace cable of interface and next start all the process from very begining. while doing this you have to note down all steps. for better use next time.
