This is a WorkCentre 5875. We recently acquired two of these and they both have this problem. A tech did check for loose connections and that didn't resolve it. We now have a replacement control panel and will see if that helps.

Probably, but the wiring/connections may be loose/poor. Would depend on the model as to causes.

Touch screen appears scrambled and is unreadable

Product Name: Other - specify product in post
Our Xerox machine's touch display screen is often unreadable and flickers in scrambled configurations until finally righting itself. The copy and scan functions are unusable for several minutes at a time because the soft keys cannot be used. Dealer techs seem to be at a loss. Do I need a replacement control panel?
