Turn 7800 into a Copier?

There is no interface or functionality built into the Phaser 7800 firmware for you to be able to attach a scanner and make copies.

I'm sorry. It looks as if my question wasn't clear. I have a Xerox 7800 which is a printer only machine. We would like to have a color copier in addition to a printer. I am wondering if there is a way to add something to our 7800 so that it could also function as a color copier? The 7800 appears to be similar to the WorkCentre 75xx series of machines. So I thought it might be possible to retrofit the scanner mechanism to that series of machines to the 7800. But if that specific idea is a non-starter, is there ANY way to add something to our 7800 to turn it into a copier?

Thank you for using the Support Forum. The WorkCentre 75xx comes with copy capabilities.  Someone may have removed the copy button from the control panel.  You can add the copy icon back by following this solution.  If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Is it possible to retrofit (or jerryrig)  a WorkCentre 75xx scanner unit to the Phaser 7800 to make it into a copier as well as printer? Don't need to do a lot of copying and don't even need the ADF, but it would be nice to have for the occasional need.
