Re: USB port on the WC 7335

Once you get to the link, type "USB" into the search field near the middle of the page. You should see a "How to enable/disable... USB port" solution at the top of the results list.

Re: USB port on the WC 7335

Hi AlpenIT,

Have you tried the procedure that is outlined in the following link?  If you have, and it has not worked, then there may be one other option to try.  Please let me know if this link gets your USB port working. http://www.support.xerox.com/support/workcentre-7328-7335-7345-7346/support/enus.html?associatedProd...

USB port on the WC 7335

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hi all,

Confounded... we have the WC 7335 setup fine as a networked printer - just DHCP via ethernet on Windows XP and Vista systems - peer to peer at present. What is the USB built into the interface panel for? It sure as heck won't take a printer driver? Just an 'unknown'. What I have is two different networks in close proximity and need to print from both. So the easy solution I 'thought' was to network one and use the USB port for a direct connection to one system on the other network and share it for the peers on that network. Tried a few computers - all see 'new hardware' but won't accept any driver over the USB connect.

I guess I need to rig some VLAN or one to one NAT etc... to get 2 networks to print to the 1 7335.

What the heck is the USB port for - the manuals aren't too clear...

Thanks all.
