Re: Unable to change general settings

Jump to solution

I found the problem. The fax line connected to the machine was being held in an unkown state by an upstream modem. Resetting the modem solved the issue and allowed my to access the settings on the front panel and via the web interface.

Thanks for your help!

On the machine UI there is an icon named "Jobs". There is no active job there?

Thanks for the response. There are no pending jobs and I disconnected the network cable. This did not resolve the issue.

When I try to make a change via the web interface I get this message when I try to make a General change:

The requested operation cannot be processed.

Possible causes are: A job is in progress

The web interface shows that the machine is ready. Is there another way to kill jobs for sure?

Hi,

It is possible to have jobs that are pending in the queue or the device is receiving network traffic, so disconnect from the network and delete any pending jobs.

From the touch screen on our B405DN when I try to access the General settings I get the message: unable to continue, try again later. I am logged in as the Admin and have tried power cycling the machine multiple times. How can I resolve this?
