Ok, thanks for the reply, I've tried the steps suggested and still no luck.

I din't intend doing a firmware update, the product is new and under guarantee, I suspect an update will invalidate the guarantee.

As it doesn't work to spec I'll be returning it to Amazon as faulty and giving a 1 star product rating.

Hello PaulG,

If you are having trouble setting up the Wifi, you may need to upgrade the firmware.

Here are all the steps to set up the Wifi if you wanted to check your steps.

Unable to connect via wireless

Product Name: Xerox B210 Printer
Operating System: Windows 8.1

Just looking for some suggestions, just bought the B210 and I've got it setup ok using the USB cable but when I try to connect via wireless (WiFi) using the wizard (I can see my network ok) I get a "Connection failure - IP address not assigned". The password is correct, checked and re-checked it

I've tried several times but no luck - also tried the WPS but also no luck

 

Any suggestions?
