Good day, I bought a 6204 wide format xerox machine and I have the intention to install network would like to know if there is any installation guide or if they were kind enough to provide the help needed to install my email is [personal email removed for privacy] in advance thank you very much!

Please take a look at the support page for your Xerox 6204 Wide Format Printer for information about the machine.  I did find a solution for how to set up scanning, see if this will help.  If not then you may need to contact your support centre for further assistance.

Thank you for the reply, I was able to get the 6204 to plot, it works great.

 

Now I am interested in retrieving scans.

I installed Accxes Client Tools v.15.0.46 from here:

http://www.support.xerox.com/support/xerox-6204/file-redirect/enus.html?operatingSystem=win7x64&file...

 

The client tool program won't start, gives an error:

"Accxes Client Tools
Error
Unable to start application, please reinstall."

 

I have removed and reinstalled. I also tried remove, and install the older version 14.04.12.

Is there another way to retrieve scans?

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the solution for resetting the machine to factory defaults and see if this is what you want to do.  If this does not get you the results you need please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Used 6204 wide format. Installation for new office.

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

We have a used wide format 6204. Plugged it in and started using it for copies.

I want to connect it to our network for plotting and scanning.

Where do I start?

How do I wipe the previous owner's configuration and reset the password?

The machines in our office are runing Windows7 64.
