Thank you for using the Support Forum. Make sure you have the sleep settings set to the maximum time allowed and see if the machine will respond properly.  If it does not please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Versalink B405dn Not Waking From Sleep No Ping

Product Name: VersaLink B405 Multifunction Printer

We recently purchased one of these and it seemed to be working alright until I actually put it into production

 

  • Versalink B405dn
  • It has the current firmware as provided through the website (and the built in utility)
  • Static IP, no conflicts
  • Very simple setup, works fine until it goes into the failure mode

The printer goes into sleep mode and once in sleep mode it becomes unpingable. The only fix is to touch the power button.

 

This makes the device COMPLETELY useless for our purposes as it is an unattended device.

 

What is the fix for this situation?:
