Tech replaced computer boards in DFA

power to DFA was checked for consistency

For us we powered up in this order

1. Turn engine on first

2. Turn Freeflow PC on

3. Turn on Booklet maker

4. Reprogam booklet maker

5. Resend job as PROOF

So since it only happens during the finishers largest power draw (booklet), does the issue stop if you simply remove the surge protector?

Product Name: Xerox Versant 2100 Press

This 2100 has a ColourWorks Booklet maker attached and FreeFlow PS up front.. I keep getting an error message regarding the DFA and it shows the location on the UI, it is the system which connects the engine to the Booklet maker code 051-911 this has been an ongoing issue since summer. I have tried moving the plugs around on a supplied Tripp-Lite surge box. Turing off the complete system and restarting 3 or 4 times has become the common solution and sometimes that doesn't work.

This is only occuring when doing booklets and time spent is ridiculus IM UPSET SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

2 calls this week regarding the issuse and several calls since summer should have raised a RED flag.
