Splashed the NVM. Couldn't use the backed up NVM data for fear it was corrupted, Been 3 weeks now and no problems. Corrupt NVM seems to be the problem. Kudos to John Leathley for his assistance.
Firmware is current has different meanings (General/Spar/One-Off) Current as of today that would be 073.xxx.177.14300
That is definitely a PS error, and it appears to be coming from the Xerox Lockdown Solution, Do you have that feature? (It's for making it HIPAA compliant)
It might also have ties to the Xerox Healthcare MFP solution
I would guess, that it is (if no healthcare solution(s)) a corrupt firmware load, which would mean an Altboot to fix. If it is a machine with either of the 2 healthcare solutions, it may be that it doesn't quite work on the latest firmware (Pure conjecture here)
I can say that another company (Assumed due to the email addresses the printers are using) has submitted a config page with the identical code on it for a totally unrelated issue yesterday, on a similar device with the same firmware, but due to it being a separate issue they are reporting, diagnoses of the PS error has not yet even begun.
My tech brought back these config reports. Anyone ever seen anything like this before. The red type is not on prints or copies and was not on the copy paper in any of the trays. He ran 3 more config page, all with the same red type. FW is current.
