Re: What can I do to check why it says wrong size paper when it is not

Many thanks again Gabiene.

I checked these and they weer correct, both A4.

I don't know wht, but it is not now giving that error. It is accepting it as A4 and allowing me to orint multiple copies without the message.

I have 2x  6250 machines that were both doing the same thing and started at the same trime so I am not sure why that happened. Anyway I will also try the other machine once I get this one going again.  BTW I am using Win 10 x 64 1903.

I have opend a new post about a colour problem you may also be able you help me with.

Thanks again

In "Printer Properties" select "Preferences", then select "Paper", "Other size" and set for A4 in both locations "Output paper size" and "Original document size"

Thanks for the reply.

Where do I change this then please?

As far as I could see it was all set at A4.

Thanks

Re: What can I do to check why it says wrong size paper when it is not

Summary.
Printing a 1 page image.
1. Page prints correctly
2. Blank page follows then
3. Paper gets jammed
LED Message, Wrong paper type, place A4 in. (A4 is in)
So 3 sheets instead of 1 and a error message.

What can I do to check why it says wrong size paper when it is not

Product Name: Phaser 6250
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hi,

I am getting the messaeg on the LED that I should load, wehn in fact I have A4 loaded.

It is the same on MFT and main tray.  They are set correctly as always.

I have triple checked the printer paper inh the macjhione admin, also the printer properties in Win 10 as well as the driver properties.  They are all set to A4 as is the programs I use to create the documents.

If I set it to printm 1, it will print 1 okay, but ifI set it to 2 or more it wil print 1, then a blank or the inmage printede halfway down the next page then jam.

I then open it up and clear the jam and start it all again.

This is driving me bananas because I cannot get a print run.

Where can I check if the paper size sensors are okay?  Are they uses on both MFT and main trays?

Or can I do something esle to check why this is happening?
