We just purchased a used C9065 and it was supposed to have the Fiery EX-c installed. The fiery button is on the home screen but it's blank when we press the button. I found a photo of the black box on the xerox site but I don't see where or if it is istalled. Our old C75 had the fiery hanging on the back of the printer. I need to verify the Ex-c is installed before we complete the sale.
Thanks!

To verify if the Fiery EX-c is installed on your Xerox C9065 printer, you can follow these steps: Check physical installation: Start by visually inspecting the printer for the presence of the Fiery EX-c. As you mentioned, on previous models like the C75, the Fiery was often a separate unit attached to the back of the printer. Look for a similar external module connected to the printer. Ensure all cables are securely connected. Access printer settings: On the printer's control panel, navigate to the settings menu. Look for an option related to the Fiery EX-c or external print server. The menu structure and wording may vary depending on the specific printer model and firmware version. View installed options: Within the printer settings, locate the section that displays the installed options or accessories. It should list any additional features such as the Fiery EX-c. Check if the Fiery EX-c is listed as an installed option. Contact Xerox support: If you're still unsure about the presence of the Fiery EX-c after checking the physical installation and printer settings, it's best to contact Xerox support directly. Provide them with the printer model, serial number, and any other relevant details. They can confirm if the Fiery EX-c is supposed to be included with your specific printer model and help you further troubleshoot the issue.
JD,
The EX-c Fiery Server sits next to the machine.
The EX-i Fiery Server attaches to the back of the machine.
The EX Server can sit next to the device or there is furniture (FACI Kit) available.
Here is a link to a YouTube video showing the differences.

I hope this helps.
The Fiery EX-c is a server that connects to the C9065 and provides advanced printing capabilities, such as color management, job processing, and print queue management. It also includes a user interface that allows you to control print settings and manage print jobs. As for the physical location of the Fiery EX-c, it would typically be installed as a separate component within the printer, such as in a designated slot or bay. However, the exact location can vary depending on the specific model and configuration of the C9065.
