OK, reinstalled both PCL PCL6 drivers.

New USB cable

Created a NLC-Txt file.

Still the same, job flies through the What's print; but no print.

Re-Checked JOB status; found the jobs made 03/12 Saturday Copying Reports

Copying got the print done;

Reports reported as completed, but did not receive prints.

how to check the machine current date/time?

It really doesn't matter which driver you use.

The date on those jobs are not necessarily correct. Create a file called NLC_wc.txt and print it, then see if that job name appears in the printer.

If it does not, the print never left your PC, which means a trouble belongs to the USB connection. Try another cable.

Hi, Joe, Thx.  Back at Work.

Job Status > Completed Jobs  :  all are year old jobs; latest one 04/13.

Logged In,    Machine status > Tools  found  Setup & Calibration (2),

                                                                               But   NO  Accounting; No  Authentication

******    You didn't mention what driver is in use, so it may be the printer doesn't support PS and Windows installed a PS driver. If that was the case you would just need to grab a PCL driver from Xerox.com for it.

 which PCL Driver to select?      --   how to install PCL driver from zip?

      PCL Driver - 64-bit, Xerox User Interface        PCL6 Driver - 64-bit, Xerox User Interface

what are the default WC7345  Acct Name/Password etc if needed to get into "Machine Status" ...?

  Otherwise, how to reset to Factory original?

I would also like to Delete/Reset the previous work settings (e.g. Fax/eMail ...)

At the printer, select Job Status > Completed Jobs and I would assume you will find your print job there.

Touch the job on screen and it will tell you why it failed.

You didn't mention what driver is in use, so it may be the printer doesn't support PS and Windows installed a PS driver. If that was the case you would just need to grab a PCL driver from Xerox.com for it.

If the fault is Deleted due to invalid account ID or similar, the printer has accounting enabled. 2 places to check that, so check these:

1. As admin go to Machine status > Tools > Accounting > Accounting Type and set to Accounting Disabled if it is not already.

2. As admin go to Machine Status > Tools > Authentication > Security Settings > Authentication > Login Type and set to No login required

After it reboots try again.

Then come back and tell me how it went, and what the actual error was if it was different than my 2 guesses.

 I took in this orphaned 800K pages - WC7345 last Saturday,  which has been idled  since April, 2015; connecting it to an  Windows 7 64 laptop (in a Wifi office network) , downloaded the software from the Xerox site etc.  Just need it to Printing/Copying for now; maybe later consider  faxing/eMailing; the machine copies well color 11x17.

   Using USB cable;   "Add Printer" found the printer; softward checked OK;

            Printing from Word -> in the "what is printing" window the job details (Name size.. etc) would show for a short time then disappeared as normal successful job; but WC7345 Stays silent; nothing printed.

  ----------------------

  Google search  :  HP forum on a similiar problem mentioned about security setting?  is it same here? if so, how to remove all the old settings from the previous work settings?

Thanks.
