Re: Won't print from pc, won't scan ,says no driver despite downloading three times

Thanks but none of this means a thing to me. I just type and print. I have no idea what happens when I start my car it just goes. All I want to do is the same, type and print. I am afraid all the IP addresses embedded web server mean nothing to me. Sorry.
I was hoping someone would point me to a button on the printer that would delete whatever the DHCP is or find it

Hello Keith,

I searched the KB and found some solutions that may help you:

IP Address Displays 0.0.0.0 on the Printer's Control Panel or Within the Embedded Web Server

How To Assign or Change the IP Address of the Printer (Static/Permanent IP Address)

Document Prints From the Wrong Tray

How To Configure Tray Settings Using the Embedded Web Server

Won't print from pc, won't scan ,says no driver despite downloading three times

Product Name: WorkCentre 6515
Operating System: Windows 10

Have a 2 year old 6515, always been a bit of atemperamental beast. Suddenly it will not print from the PC says no driver . Have deleted printer and downloaded driver and smasrt software three times but each time says the same thing.

Have managed to get it ot copy from the touch pad but always wants to use the bypass  even though it is no 2 in the choice!

Is connected to pc with printer cable and also to my Cat 5 housse network/router. When checking the information on the touchpad I see that there is no IP4 address but cannot find anyway to enter my Ip address.

Anyone know how to get the

  1. printerdriver issue sorted and the pc communicating with the printer.
  2. stop the bypass overriding the priority paper tray
  3. input my IP address

Many thanks
