Good afternoon, I have a problem because I cannot access the printer's IP, because it does not start, for this reason I cannot enter to see that information. Is there another way to locate that ip of the printer?
Yes, shame on Xerox. Old FW has issues with standby, it takes a while when device is in standby mode to wake up. That's why I upgraded in the first place.
People at Xerox, please fix this ASAP. It's clearly a software glitch.
This is a general solution for the problems after upgraded a new firmware: just downgrading to the V3.50.01.08 SMP1 Firmware
and you will resolve your problem.
Again this is a great disgrace for Xerox Corporation to released problematic firmwares for WorkCentre 3025.
Generally, it is a problematic situation with all upgrading for Xerox machines as you can see on this site.

I can confirm this. Downgraded the FW to V3.50.01.08 and it works fine. Hope, they fix this in future firmware releases.
Hi,
Had the same problem.
Managed to solve it by downgrading the firmware to original v3.50.01.08.
Hope it helps.
Sounds like it might be a firmware issue. It appears that power-cycling is a work-around to this issue.
Same happend to me. Bought new device and upgraded it with a new firmware on the first day, so I don't really know if the same problem existed prior upgrading.
I found a solution:
1) unplug the power cord
2) wait for 1 minute
3) plug the cord back in
4) press power and hold it for 15-20 seconds untill some LEDs start blinking again
It is extreamly irritating and I'm positive it is not intentional to be like this. So I'm asking Xerox support, should I change the device or will there soon be a FW upgrade? And yes, opening and closing the door should be fixed with a simple click on the button when paper is out.

I have a question for you: did you totally resolve problem or you have to every time when you start your machine to removing power cord from machine?
Same problem happened with me:
1- New purchased printer (WorkCentre 3025)
2- upgraded to Firmware v3.50.01.10
3- same problem: stuck at "system initialize" after restart or long sleep period.
What i found that when i removed the power cord from the printer (not from wall plug...from the printer !!!) for 5-10min it pass "system initialize" and becaome working again!!
I think it is a firmware problem.
Also i do not like when paper empty and you must open the door and close it again after filling papers...pressing a button can do this...also it is a firmware.
No, no more experiments with problematic firmware. This is a disgrace for Xerox.
I see a lot of people complaining with problems with the firmware upgrade on Xerox machines.
