Do the update and return the printer for a refund if it breaks again, do not go messing with NVM settings and using special boot modes because that is a sure fire way to make everything go poorly, there is a reason those modes are not documented in the manual.
I am replaced machine for new at the local store but I'm not dare to do upgrade firmware. On the other hand its very dangerous to be on network becouse "Man- in--The--Middle (MiTM) attack where a person on the network can force a “downgrade” of the session between a client and server to use SSLv3 instead of a more secure protocol such as TLS", its based on Xerox offical Xerox Security Mini Bulletin XRX16H_V1.0 (PDF 239.1K), March 03, 2016.
Its very problematic, problematic situation.
I'm an electrical engineer, this situation from famous company Xerox did not expect.
In particular, no one has answered my request via e-mail and chat options Xerox's is non stop inactivated.
Yes of course, I understood but can you get your comment for next: my friend also bought WorkCentre 3025, it worked perfectly whole day and he decide to upgrade firmware to WorkCentre3025BI_V3.50.01.13.zip . After that it worked, print configuration list etc etc and he powered of machine.
Next day when he powered on machine the same problem: on display "system initialize" and not boot up...
Very strange, is not it?
Sorry, none of that made sense.
I gave you a bunch of stab-in-the-dark guesses as to the cause as well as explained it isn't worth troubleshooting, you state it is new, return it as defective.
Too many possibilities to list them all.
Firmware, bad solder point, defective part, loose connector, toner spilled (turned upside down during shipping) etc etc. The fault is too generic to diagnose with even close to certainty.
You return it as defective, you don't pay that much money and keep it, you certainly don't want to try and fix it and take responsibility for possibly voiding the warranty.
A total new machine WorkCentre 3025, When I am press power on led diodes blinking shortly and on display message "system initialize" forever... The machine like a dead.
What can I do, please?
