If it is new, return/exchange it. You will void the warranty by taking it apart, and you won't fix a gear/roller without dismantling it.

I don't believe it's a fan noise. Its sounds more like rollers spinning as when the unit first starts up.

Probably the fan(s), look for the exhaust port and spray with compressed air.

WorkCentre 3225 makes short whirring noise

I have a new WorkCentre 3225 that makes a short whirring noise about every 30 min. Any way to dissable that/what is it?

I have the unit going int'o power saving mode at 1 minuite.

Everything functions normaly.
