Connectivity and Network Setup won't be there if you are not currently logged in as the admin.

DHCP Server failure implies it either is not plugged into the network, or you have no DHCP server

The automatic IP address has been assigned this would be a 169.xxx.xxx.xxx address and would be worthless anyway.

USB port is for maintenance or scanning to USB stick only, it cannot be used to print from a PC

WorkCentre 4250 missing "Connectivity and Network Settings"

Product Name: WorkCentre 4250

Hi all!

 

I just got a used workcentre 4250. I've been having issues connecting it through the USB and RJ45. There is also a message saying "DHCP Server failure. The automatic IP address has been assigned". However, there is no IP address on the system info screen. On top of it all, there is no "Connectivity and Network Setting option in "Tools" menu. Any feedback will be appreciated :o)
