Hey guys i'm a small computer/network/printer tech looking for help with a copier i've picked up from a large company and reselling to one of mine.
It's a WorkCentre 5790 that jams when printing from tray 3. All other trays 1,2,4,5 and bypass feed fine.
It lifts the paper and the pickup roller assy on top rotates but does not pickup paper, viewable by removing tray 2. If I put slight pressure on the roller, it picks up the paper but it stops/jams when it gets to the vertical section of the paper path on the left side of the printer.
I have an identical 5790 which i swapped the whole tray, paper sensor/wire accessable from the back and the pickup assy.
I'm going to try to get the parts I need to get the second 5790 up and running to see if the same thing happens on it, but in the meantime, what would you guys suggest?
