Hi davidstorie,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please consider contacting your support centre to see if there is an upgraded firmware available for your machine and for further assistance.
We have a WorkCentre 6505 installed in a satelite office, and we have been having issues with it waking up from sleep. The only way to release the job is to reboot the machine, at which point the jobs will print.
After almost a year of wrestling with support, they sent me a new machine. This one does it as well...needless to say I'm about at my wits end. I have set up many networked printers before, but none of them have had problems like this.
INFORMATION
- When the printer goes offline only rebooting it will resolve the issue
- I have tried the PS and PCL drivers, both have the same problems
- There are two computers using the printer, both are connecting to it via the IP port of the print driver
- When the machine goes "offline" so-to-speak, the machine is still pingable however web services are no longer available
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
