WorkCentre Pro 40 Communications Problem Encountered: Reset system by turning power off, then on, using the white power switch. This does not work. System would turn off and re-boot to the same message. Router working properly, not a network issue, but issue with Xerox CPU communicating with copier unit. Replaced part 160K92905. Now white power switch does not turn system off at all.
When you turn it on do you get the white dots of death? Most likely a network controller issue. You need a tech to come in and figure out if the pronlem is the controller or the machine. Usually they will connect a laptop to the controller with an alt boot tool to see what is happening.
