Re: Workcenter 6505, 116-364 code

Jump to solution

Hi!

It can also be caused because of a corrupt job, try disconnecting the network cable and rebooting the printer without the cable connected, does the error code disappear?

If so, remove all jobs from the printer queue on the server (if connected to a network) or on all clients.

Best Regards

Kimzi

Hi Buser,
Thank you for using the Xerox forum.

This error can be caused by multiple issues related to corruption in the HDD, memory and specific boards.

There is a similar issue (116-xxx) in our 6505 product support site that indicates problems with optional memory so I would suggest that you review the following solution:  Fault Code 116-317: Controller Error, Restart Printer Message

You may consider contacting our specific product support experts If that does not resolve your issue, and request an on site service visit at the following link:Fast Track to the Expert
