Hi,
Please provide a fault code from "Fault History" on machine information. I searched a lot and I did not find anything about 303.707. Maybe there you will find a 303.777 which is Power Loss Detected fault and this code can become from defective Power Supply, or from a faulty Processor Fan on SBC PWB (controller), or even a problem with power outlet. I recommend you a tech rep to diagnose your machine issue.
Good luck!
I don't know why, but my reply was marked as spam by moderators, I suppose that is an error since I only wrote technical information.
Let's try to re-write:
I made some other checks. I downloaded the audit file and I see that:
1) In two cases, machine restart is related to "system shutdown" event and it is not caused by events that occurred before. For example, in one case the event imediately before the machine restart (8.45 am) occurred 8 hours before (0am: it was a mailbox refresh). In another case the event before the restart was a print job (occurred 30min before).
2) In one case I had a http-daemon.sh crash. I see no "System shutdown", but only "System startup" after the crash.
All events caused the error 303.707.00 to be shown in the error registry. In the first two cases there is indeed something that asks for a restart, but I cannot understand what is it. In another post I read that 303.707.xx code is related to power supply, but in Xerox support page I read that 303.xxx errors are related to communication issues. I am a little confused.
Thanks
F
Hi,
Check the controller processor fan if rotates. Install the latest firmware using AltBoot method.
Good luck!

Hello
I have a workcenter 7855. It randomically reboots, in this case I got the error 303.707.00. Can anyone confirm that it could be an hardware problem with power supply? Please note that in these situations there is no power down in my office.
Thanks
f.
