Greetings, where specifically is the battery located?
ok, so I solved it myself - there is a standard CR2032 cmos battery inside, why does Xerox ignore this fact in their Xerox product's battery matrix I do not know.
Whe you take it apart from the back side, it is under the left cover
Hello xtm,
I see no one has responded to this post yet. So, at this point I would recommend contacting your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Product Specialist for more assistance. Please call 1-800-821-2797 or 1-800-835-6100
Hello,
my Workcentre 3220 resets its clock every time I turn it off. I don't care about the time, but since it resets to 01-00-2007, you can't just press ok on that nag screen because it does not accept it as valid time and you have to set some real time with the arrow buttons - which is really anoying.
I wasn't able to google any cmos battery type/replacement info, nothing is mentioned in any manual I found so far, Xerox's cmos battery list does not contain WC3220 at all. How does this printer remember the time? How can the battery/capacitor/whatever can be replaced / where is it?
Or is there any other workaround to skip the nag "set time" screen? I don't care about the time.
thank you
