It could be that the Energy saver button is stuck, while its off, push the button a few times and turn it on.
But....
Since it didn't get the update due to being powered down, you will need to finish the upgrade most likely.
Download the correct firmware , create the folder DWLD on your usb stick , put the rom in that folder , boot up the machine with the usb stick in when booting up the machine , hold the power saver button...

Today I tried to upgrade the firmware of our Workcentre 5230.
Somehow it went wrong... It took a very, very long time.
So I rebooted the machine... (stupid mistake, I guess)
The machine is not reachable across the network and it only displays "Download Mode" when it's on.
I found some articles about upgrading the firmware with use of a USB-thumb drive, but all of them are about other versions.
Does someone know what to do? I really need the machine back up and running.
