Workcentre 5855 White Screen and Code 8

Hello everyone, when connecting the Xerox 5855 it displays the white screen and on the rear panel the code (8.), how can I fix it?

Hi,

First of all try to reset the SD card. If this did not work install a new memory module and finaly replace the SD card ( Xerox part number for your machine: model and speed )

Hi Gabi, thank you for your attention. What is the procedure to reset the SD card? What should it contain on the card? What kind of partition?

The SD is inside the back drawer, that with Network port. Just unscrew the 2 lateral screws and pull out the drawer and you will see the SBC PWB and somewhere on the left back edge of the PWB you will see the SD. The SD contain some protected data, I think about machine serial number, machine region (for consumables), counters...

Replace the SD card part no. 237E26846.

I replace the SD card but the same problem, the problem is not solved

I formatted the SD card and i insert it, does it works or i must upload some files in it

The original Xerox SD card contain software and information for that type of machine. If you faormat the SD you lose that informations.

when i formatted the sd card the machine didn't work or just i lose the informations of the machine?
