what exactly does all that mean? I do not have a paper jam and when I get that error cleared here comes the 043-373 error. I don't understand all those tech terms, can you break it down what I should do?
The paper gets there by feeding 3-4" out of the paper tray, into the paper path and it stops at the transport rolls just below the fuser. You may also be instructed to open the rear door and remove the paper. But it may be easier to just remove the paper tray and remove the paper from the front. Then just open and close the rear door to clear the message.
This issue may need to be resolved by a Field Technical Service Representative. (TSR)
This fault is a,
043-373 IOT Deve Solenoid does not work correctly.
It is a solenoid that is mounted on the main motor drive assembly that works with the developer assembly.
Make sure your MFD has the latest software installed.
The fault could be caused by the MCU pwb, The main drive assembly, or just needing a software upgrade.
This fault made need to be addressed by a Xerox Field Technician.
It is a printer with many issues and no answers from tech support but replace with new one... . I replaced it with a HP laserjet and my troubles are over.
No Xerox ever again
Oh no! That's not excellent news. I think the machine is still under warranty so I'll maybe try to get rid of it if there's no fix.
Thanks for your help Engelen-IT
I had contacted Xerox support and their respons was a quote with the price of almost 2 new machines. I think they have lost it... . I am seriously dissapointed in Xerox!
Because i was frustrated, i have opened the side of the machine myself (the left side with the circuitboards). And refitted some wires pressed a lot of switches with force. I have almost violently shook the machine. I think the machine is afraid now... it did not show the fault anymore.
Oh and Xerox kept going around the question, they did not want to say what the error meant. Just pay and we will fix it is the answer i got. How about f*ck no. No more Xerox for me.
Hello Engelen,
I did not find that fault, but I found a similar one that is a motor fault that says to power off/on to reset.
