Hi,

The description of the fault code is "ESS ROM DIMM #1 check", but I understand that on your printer there is no such of DIMM. In this case it remains to replace the ESS PWB.

There are only three DIMMs that can be pulled. The two 512Mb ones and one with a CR2450 battery on it. I pulled and reseate all those.

Hi,

Pull out and reinsert PS DIMM on the ESS PWB (the board where the network port is. The board have 3 thumb screws: upper, lower position and at the handle).

Got this error and found that it is related to memory. Removed and reseated both memory cards. No change.

Then removed one memory card (slot M2) and tried again. Error remained. Tried with other memory card in same M1 slot. Error remained. 

Purchased new memory card and placed in M1 slot. Error still remains.

Suggestions on what to try next?
