I rechecked again but that page is permanant not available.

I want to boot my harddrive via USB flash drive by using altboot option or forced.

But this only issue right now is firmware .dml file.

which not available. I want to solve this issue.

Altboot should be altboot

Also add DISABLE_DATA_BACKUP

It doesn't matter what OS you use assuming the drive is formatted as FAT

Latest firmware DLM is in this zip

And the harddrive doesn't even need to come from a printer, it just needs to be the same physical size with the same connector. Storage size should not be drastically different though, the machine can't understand TB drives for instance.

Well few days ago I bought Xerox Workcentre 5790 machine. But after 2nd day its Harddrive was crashed and machine sheeowing welcome screen, then green blank screen and again blue screen.

I purchase one used hard drive with same model machine and fix but after controller can only read till 75% and than give an error. With this hardddrive machine can make copies but not able to connect with computer (network). 

I  try to download firmware from xerox official web side and download firmware for Altboot instllation but .dml file could not able to upgrade my hard drive through USB flash drive. I applied same way as xerox guide through instruction page but unsuccessful.

Can we use Windows platform to download those file and make Altboot folder with out extension file name FORCED_UPGRADE? or we have to use Linex platform to download or creates those files and folder. Because those procedure is not working and I am bit confused and hopeless now.

My machine are now without on network before harddrive crash its was perfectly using as printer too.

I need .dlm files and right procedure if any one help me in this regards
