i find a tool named "FreeFlow Print Server Update Downloader" at a disk came with it. but it only shows 82.C1.41. How can i find later versions for update ?
Thanks
Edit: update: I reset network settings of freeflow server and managed to open and connect update center but there is no version update avaible just patches and security updates. Is this type of updates paid one ?
p1I just see last post..
Now i'm facing with this problem. (p1)
I think it is related with the time setting of my server because when i try to open firefox, i'm facing with this message (p2) then i press ok it connects normaly. p2
Is there any other way to download updates from pc ? then transfer it to print server
Thanks.
Again, 82.H3.64 has the fix in it, you need that.
It isn't a calibration problem, it can't be, it is freshly reloaded. It can't be a hardware problem because the FX engine prints it fine. As I stated above, there are issues with some particular pantone blues in early FFPS versions that were resolved by 82.H3.64 .
i succesfully installed new system adn updated it to 82.C1.41.56 (color version 4.0.4) again i made a color profile and calibration to specifyed paper that i use for this print (170gsm coated). This is my current statue. What should i do next ? am i doing somethig wrong at this process ?
Then I am guessing you are using the Freeflow upgrade disk, not the install disk.
If I am wrong, try these directions (of course with your ISO, not one from Oracle)
I don't select an OS, just Disk or ISO Image (Please Select)
rufus did not worked i will try again in an hour. I make an iso file from disk with "lc iso creator" and make an installation on virtualbox it did not fail at any point. i'm expeting to "yumi" work but i don't know which operation system should i chose because there is no solaris chose. which operating system would be nearest to solaris ?
RIP the disk to ISO and make a bootable USB stick with it. Rufus is free to use
I'm sure there was a Freeflow version that had that color problem, possibly it was 82.B3.54 or 82.E3.34. I know 82.H3.64 has a fix in it
As for not being able to reload, I'm guessing the disk is scratched or something. Since it is toast at this point and can't get worse (Won't boot), you might as well just format the disk and try to install from scratch. Make sure the Auto repair boot option won't work first.
it's a bit long story. everytthing started with these images(p1), freeflow was not giving true color compared to printers onboard controller so i started standart color correctting procedure; first calibration if it won't effect the statue make a new color profile. so i did it but even color profile did not solved my problem. I tought it was an software issue. I started to reinstall the system it crashed at this point (p2). now i have no running freeflow. I also tried to reboot the disk to install brand new system again i insert the cd which i tried before and now it started to crash at this point (p3). I think it might be caused by cd/dvd reader.
What i need:
Boot and run the installed from usb
