Xerox 5845 is not downloading

Brought a printer, said that he had removed everything from the hard disk with all the information. I do not know what they wanted to achieve. Now if you try to turn on, there is a constant download. What can be done in this case? The image of the hard drive did not.

Same answer as last time for this machine, you need to have an Altboot, no data backup, no clone.

 

This is the only way to load a broken system.

Thanks, I'll try, and if it does not boot, does it still get the ip address? I do not know whether it was static or crashed by dhcp.

Nothing has an IP address active that isn't booted.

The problem was revealed, hdd all in bad sectors. The image could not be removed. If I replace hdd and boot through ALTBOOT, will it restore my firmware? If that is the same device, if you copy the image from it, so it will be possible to restore the download?

A fresh drive can only be loaded by a Forced Altboot to be sure the drive is partitioned correctly..
