Re: Xerox 7328 waste toner bottle

My apologies for not seeing this sooner. Yes, if you're in a bind, you're able to manually empty some of the waste toner to allow more printing. I recently had to do the same on my 7435, its a pain, but its better than not printing.

Xerox 7328 waste toner bottle

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hi everyone,

Our waste toner bottle shows that it's full and needs to be replaced and will not allow any copying or printing until it is replaced. Unfortuantely it doesn't give any indication that it's getting full ahead of time, so as soon as it gave the error message, I ordered a replacement. Unfortunately the company we lease from didn't get the order in on time yesterday and so it won't ship out until today. That means we will be without our network printer for TWO days. This thing is used constantly and it's already creating a problem.

Now we emptied the bottle yesterday, but it still won't clear the error and go back to printing. I even shut it down to try to reset the machine and that didn't work. Then I went into the printer's webpage hoping to find somewhere to reset it thru it's software, no luck. Any ideas???

TIA!

Paula
