Xerox 8860 power supply over Xerox 8560

Hi, Diego!

You need to get the correct "Electronics module" for the machine.

The configuration sim stores the parameters from the machine, which means you can only use the card with the same model.

8860 card should not work in a 8560 machine and vise versa.

If replacing the card does not work, the first thing an engineer would do is replacing the electronics module.

Hi all,

I have called the support that ask me about 400 € just to send me a technician...

Remove and insert the card did not help me. 

Please, is there a way to reset and reconfigure everything into the card? I have two of them, one is my original (8560) and one was on the new power supply I bought (8860)?

I saw some jumper on the right side of the printer (factory and service use only): can they help me?

I would suggest that you review the Phaser 8560 Support & Drivers site for a possible solution if the following does not help.
Configuration Card is for Wrong Product Message (02,011.61)

Hi folks,

My Xerox Phaser 8560 had a powe supply problem (damaged by an electrical discharge, I suppose).

I bought on Ebay a used power supply but unfortunately it seems to be for a 8860 :smileysad:

Now, when I turn on my printer, the power on self test shows "8860 test completed" but after that I have the error message "Configuration card invalid. Service needed."

Please, tell me that I can do something to use again my printer without buy another expensive power supply!
