Re: Xerox ColorQube 8580DN Invisible Jam

Hi behling,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Try turning the printer off, remove the paper from the paper trays and unplug the power for a full 2 minutes then plug it back in and turned back on.  It should give you an out of paper message, reload the paper and see if it will continue and let you copy or print.  If it still fails please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Thanks,

Hello behling,

Do you have any fault codes that come up with that message so we can maybe narrow down where the issue is occurring?

Thanks,

Xerox ColorQube 8580DN Invisible Jam

Product Name: ColorQube 8580
Operating System: Not Applicable

Hi,

Our Xerox ColorQube 8580DN has had as issue with whenever it's going through the usual boot process it stops due to it stating there is a jam.  I have checked the entire printer and have found no scraps of paper inside it t be causing this jam, additionally I have found that no paper even gets taken up during the part of the boot that states there is a jam.  I have cleaned all the rollers and it still doesn't work.  Thanks in advance.

Brent
