Xerox DC250 replace finisher with simple catch tray

Product Name: DocuColor 240/250
Operating System: Windows 10

Hello,

I have nice and working Xerox DocuColor DC250 with long finisher (proffesional booklet maker), and I want to replace it with Simple Catch Tray, but when I disconnect the finisher cable, machine shows error and stops working.

 

I have bought Simple Catch Tray (part no. 497K02440) , but it has no connection to machine. Is it possible to bypass the finisher detection somehow?

Or do I need to buy Offset Catch Tray (050K50987) with cable and connector?
