I apologize for not explaining the feature better. Your machine is working as it should. The model printer that you have does not have the paper substitution feature that you are looking for. Your machine is not broken.

I check it and work, but sometime, when a user by error list using A4 the led panel shows the messages mentioned above and all keys doésn´t work, if I press a key a beep sound. The only way to recover the operation is to turn off/on the printer.
Could be this behavoir a hardware problem?
The Phaser 6115MFP does not have a feature that will allow you to substitute similar paper sizes. What that means is that if you have "Letter" sized paper loaded in your paper trays and you send a job that needs to print on "A4" paper - you will experience the problems that you are seeing right now. There are Xerox printers that have the ability to recognize the similar paper sizes and be able to print your job on either size depending on which size is loaded in the paper trays. There are two ways around this issue. The first - Set the driver default printing preferences to size all jobs as "Letter" size. The second - Check the page setup in the application (such as MS Word) prior to sending the job.
I have a problem with my Xerox Phaser 6115MFP printer. When I print a file in windows printer with paper size set to Letter all work fine and the jobs is printed without problem and the printer is ready for the new job. The printer was configured as letter paper size in the panel of the printer.
The problem is when i try to print a file and forgot to set paper size to "letter" in windows and use A4 , when this happen the printer is in state in which no keys function and the arrow in the panel is in orange color. The only way to printer work again is turning off/on.
When this happens the error on panel is:
RESET PAPER (1 A4)
PAPER SIZE ERROR
What can i do to this problem? Why the pirnter is like a hung and no function keys work, only beep when type any key.
