Xerox Versalink c7025 016-450 error

Hi everybody, I have this versalink poping this error in the screen, I´ve checked the host name and ip and everything is correct, however the error still there, the machine works well, printing, copying, scaning... but with this error on the botton of the screen.

Any chance you have 2 of the same device?

 

That error means it has a duplicate Hostname, which happens typically if you install a Clone file on a second device but copy over network settings.

 

And if that is the case, the easy fix is EWS > Connectivity > Ethernet > Edit and just change it to something else.

Thanks, the host name has been changed however the problem still there, there are any other option to clear this error?

Check the time and date, verify they are within 3 minutes of current local time.

Try replacing the Network cable

We have just purchased a Versalink C7020 and it displays the same error.

I have tried a different network cable ab]nd it is the only one of its kind in the office, so none of the solutions that I have found anywhere have any effect.

Also we cannot scan to folder over SMB, but perhaps that is linked to the same error?
