That message  is just the function of the auto clear timer. Since you cannot get into System Settings you can change nothing about how it behaves, so there is no point in providing the Auto clear settings. (I'm assuming your tech guy would have been logged into the MFP and not just trying to make admin changes as a walkup user)

Thank you for your suggestions, Joe. I sent one of my Tech's back onsite to take a look at the menu information you provided. Unfortunately, we cannot get past the System Settings portion of the menu. It doesn't give us the option. Also, the machine displays a message every few minutes "All services will be reset to default settings soon" and that stays on the device for about 10 seconds, then goes away. The machine does this all day.

Have you verified it isn't just hidden from the menu?

Machine Status > Tools > System Settings > Common Service Settings > Screen/Button Settings > All Services > Change Settings

Pick an entry that says (Not Assigned) and see if there is a Fax available to choose.

If there is not, then the machine doesn't have any idea there is a fax board installed.

Which means the fax board is bad, since it was replaced already I will assume it was replaced for this very issue and assume it is fine

If the mainboard is bad, there isn't much help I can give.

 but a simple update won't magically add fax to a machine that has no sign of it being an option. I don't actually know how to do a forced update to this model, If you can find that out it could re-add the option if it was missing due to a corruption. I know it involves loading it from a USB key, but there are other files and folder names that cause it to forcefully install the software over the current, as opposed to updating the current.

I have a WorkCenter 7345 device currently missing the "Fax" option on the display. We've reset the machine, checked the fax line and performed a multitude of other things to try and resolve this issue short of replacing the main board. We have already replaced the Fax Board. We are throwing money at this machine and nothing is solving the problem. Any suggestions?
