Hi!
you removed the memory and it got a step further?
If so, I would agree with you, maybe the mem self test is not getting passed.

Hello
Yes, i've started it with and without the network cable and it doesn't make a difference. I removed the memory and it was able to get to the xerox symbol, but then it goes to a screen that looks like this...
ABT : 00008000
TSK : 00003393
056 3 i.060310
After this it keeps restarting. Could the memory be bad, and that's the reason why it's not able to get beyond Please Wait...?
Hi again!
Ok, great that you've replaced the fuser as it was damaged, have you tried starting the machine without the network cable connected?

Hello
I put a brand new fuser in and the please wait... message is still being displayed. When I try to push any of the buttons, none of them will get me out of the please wait.... message. Is there a way to clear this message? I tried pushing the reset button and turning the power off and on, nothing seems to be working.
Hi again!
I'm sorry but the fuser in this machine only works for m118, m118i and C118.

Hey
I took the fuser out to examine for any paper, and it looks like the heating rod is damaged in the center. We don't have any other m118i models, but we do have 7556, 3550, colorqube 8570n, 6600dn, 7545, 7855, 7525, 5325, 5135, phaser 7500. Would the fuser for any of these models be able to fit into the M118i model so that I can test if that is the problem?
Hello
Thank you for taking the time to reply. I will try your suggestions and let you know what happens.
Hi again!
Was the paper ripped?
I suggest turning the machine off and looking for small bits if thats the case, also if you have more than one model, trying another fuser.
Could be another issue, but thats a start. :)

Hello
I wasn't there to see the paper jam so i'm not exactly sure, but that is completely possible. There is also a slight ticking noise that is coming from the left side where the fuser is located.
Hi again!
Oh, ok.
Could it be that the paper jammed was in the fuser?
Best Regards
