Xerox Workstation 6025 no paper error

Hello!

 

I've bought a new xerox Workstation 6025. And The printer keeps giving me the error "024-963 Printer, Load Paper then Press [OK] Button."

 

The error was first shown on the first copy I tried to make when I took the printer out of the box. Then turned the printer off, and left it for a few days. Today I tried again, and It worked, I managed to print around 5 pages (3 printed from PC, 2 via the copy). On the 6th print I got a paper jam error. Opened the back panel and took the paper out, but the paper wasn't torn or damaged or crushed, it looked as if tho the printer just stoped printing. Took the paper out, made sure it was in 1 pieces (so nothing would stay stucked inside). And tried to print a new copy, but now everytime I try to print from PC or use the copy function, I get the "no paper" error.

 

 

The error did happen before I got the paper jam error, so that proabably isn't releted to eachother. And the printer is brand new so the wheels inside shouldn't be dirty. I would have taken it apart allready to see whats happening, but it's still under warranty (as it is brand new) and don't want to compromise it :)

Hi Gregy,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take the paper out of the machine trays and turn the machine off.  With the paper trays still empty turn the machine back on.  Once it has finished the start up use the instructions for loading paper to reload the paper.  Make sure you adjust the paper guides so that they are against the paper but not tight.  If it will still not pull the paper please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
