Hi,

Try another USB thumb drive, max. 8gb. SOme USB thumb drive are not recognized by machines.

If this did not help, replace the HDD (2,5 SATA drive, min. 80gb).

altboot not starting from USB

Hello

 

I need help with my xerox 7525.

We did an initialise of the printer and now it does not boot anymore.

We get the green ui screen, but it reboots after about 20 seconds.

If we try to flash the printer again with the altboot methode (fat32 in a folder altboot with the FORCE_UPGRADE file in the folder) but nothing happens.

Is it possible that the usb ports are hardware based disabled. (I tried the 3 usb ports)

Pressing the 0 for 5 or even 10 seconds followed by the start buttons does not help.

 

Anything else I can try?
