Yes, it is simple. On the CD1 there is an EXE. and you must follow the steps described there.

I have the disks but is there a simple way to reinstall the software or instructions?

Hi,

There is no connection between the finisher and the Fiery. It is simply a coincidence. If the problem remains after the restart, the Fiery software will have to be reinstalled.

Product Name: DocuColor 242/252/260
Operating System: Windows 7

I have a docucolor 252 and I disconnected the professional finisher and now fiery wont boot.  Will still print as copier but can not make connection with fiery.  Does it have to have the Professional finisher attached for the fiery to boot.  It goes through the boot up process but has FF code on Fiery.
