and there is Network Controller Setting>network & connectivity> here it is set to static because it overides the Fiery setting and we want to keep the fiery at a static address. This isn't over-riding, it is the Fiery being specified when you select Network Controller Settings , if you unhook the Fiery and reboot, thios option will be gone
when changes are made to settings, Is there a specific routine or order to power off/on reboot the copier & Fiery? Not really. If they are both off, and you turn on the copier, it turns on the Fiery, with a bustlked Fiery, if you turn it on when the copier is off, it can't turn on the copier, and when it boots, it will simply turn itself off.
Does the Fiery logo populate and load on the All Services screen ?
Any chance somebody changed the Default File repository on the copier via CWIS?
Thanks Joe
I have checked the crossover and swapped it with another crossover cable ( I guess it is possible that there are two bad cables)
On the copier UI under tools, there is network & connectivty setup>protocol> here it is set to auto DHCP/Auto and appears to be getting the right IP 100.100.100.101

The issue is with the cable/connection settings of the crossover cable between Fiery and printer.
Make sure the copier is still set to DHCP/A and that the crossover cable is indeed a crossover cable
I have a C70 with the external Fiery (ealier V. 1 model with F150 Pro)
Upon installation it displays check scanner network cable on the Fiery ticker and there are no Fiery scan tamplates on the UI. They are visible in the webtools.
Printing over the network is fine and webtools/Centreware work.
