I have printed a config report from copier and fiery I can send you if it would help
This may or may not work, just give it a go and see.
Click Start and type cmd
Right click on command prompt, select "Run as Administrator"
Click "Yes"
CD E:
CD efi\server\system
nethelperapp.exe –setengif_ics
Last line of resulting text should read: Set Engine Interface – Success
Close command line, reboot Fiery
I was able to execute that command (enter :E:" not "CD E:" to change to E: drive)
but it did not eliminate the check scan cable message.
Update the printer firmware
Update the Fiery
Hope, because after these 2 options, a tech will need to reload it/them, we covered everything except a Firewall on the Fiery, but they (Windows Firewall mostly) break way more stuff than scan templates and a false error
