I don't know much about the device but the "K" sounds like it means there is an issue with the Black toner / drum since Black is the K in CMYK.

 

That would explain the inability to print, not sure why the power button would fail to work.

cp105b when turned on, it does the whirring paper roller noises then displays

on/ready green light

and K light

 

both lights are static.

there is no obvious error

then the device will not respond to anything - the power button does nothing, nor does the computer have any luck with connecting.
