Try to shut down the machine and press several times the "Energy Saver" button. Sometimes the button is stuck and the machines enters download mode.

can you explain in detailed manner. just yester day i got 7232 machine.. it has only limited option so i thought that i can firmware update. But after entering firmware update.. machine stuckup in download mode. i restarted the machine 3 to 4 times. but same problem. so i require proffessional help.

you took the wrong fitrmware , you need ether pcl of ps depending on your machine...

download the correct firmware , create the folder DWLD on your usb stick , put the rom in that folder , boot up the machine with the usb stick in

when booting up the machine , hold the power saver button...

i need new firmware for my workcentre 7232. so i came to the xerox and got it. i went online and saw that i could to up load it on a usb. so i put it on a new usb by it self and followed the steps i saw online. but all i get is transffering and the back to download mode . what can i do to get my copier working?
