Re: error 124-355

Hello Pascal,

I searched for the error code in our knowledge base and it requires service. Also we can not share the instruction on how to get into diagnostic mode of the printer. Please call your local support department to schedule a service call.

Re: error 124-355

Meanwhile I got the button combinations on the control panel of the printer right to get the printer into Boot Mode - Analysis 1 mode and Boot Mode - Analysis 2 mode but then I am stuck @Xerox support, @anybody, please share button combinations to take next steps. As documented above, in these days of rightsized consumership, such devices should not got thrown away for small technical issues. Thank you,

error 124-355

Product Name: Phaser 6510
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Dear All,

Yes, I constantly receive this error (124-355) after boot of my xerox phaser 6510.

Reading the different posts, this is not a trivial issue and requires resynchronisation of NVRAM etc.

First of all, please note that the printer was not opened for servicing at all ! I mean, the hardware print circuitry space.

This error just appeared at a point in time...

As the printer is really in good overall shape, I don't want to throw this precious piece of hardward to the bin.

So I brought the printer in the special boot menu, installed the bridge firmware to subsequently upgrade to the latest firmware for this printer (64.69.91). The printer each time round nicely rebooted to activate the new firmware which I downloaded.

Most unfortunaletly, even this, did not trigger the needed resynchronisation..

Details of the error:

124-355: DC132 14 At least one set of territory information at the 3 locations is different.

Execute the diagnostic dC131 NVM Read/Write, compare the following 3 NVM values.

and verify the 3 numbers match.700-600 700-601 700-602

Would be so so great to avoid the bin and get this splendid printer back in printing mode.

Thnx for the help, Pascal
